Well...I told Brooklynn to put down the old piece of wood. She just kept going after it and I warned her that she'd probably get splinters. Well...she didn't listen at all and so this is what happened. On our way back in she showed me her finger and said, "ouchie." So I told her she probably had a splinter. I got her hands washed off and looked at the thing...holy cow. I've never seen so many splinters at once before! I was actually a little impressed and excited because I LOVE to take out splinters. It is like a little challenge. She didn't cry and only said "ouch" like twice for all of them.
