Brooke's Latest...

Brooke is keeping me VERY busy with the stair climbing. This is actually an earlier video of her, now she flies up those stairs. I put her all the way across the room and she crawls right over to the stairs to climb them. I can't keep up with her.

Brooke's Friend

Brooke LOVES herself and spends quite a bit of time flirting with the other baby in the mirror. It is so cute to watch her.

Goodbye to the Murrays :(

The family I babysat for the last 3 years, the Murrays, are moving back to California. :(
On a positive note, while they were busy packing up, Brooke and I got to spend a lot of time with them before they left. We had fun. I'm glad we got to spend some more time with them before they left. I'm sort of in denial that they are leaving; I was just getting used to being around again. It is more like I have three babysitters for Brooke when we go over instead of me babysitting them. She LOVES you. It was so fun and cute to see her whole face light up whenever we would go over when she would see first her buddy, Page, and then Nell & Camille when they got home from school. We both will miss you so much!

Brooke LOVED playing in the Murray's playhouse! She was especiallyinterested in the fake food.

My Little TroubleMaker

I'm not quite sure if Brooke is acting out because of the stress of the move, or if it is my own childhood coming back to haunt me, or if it just how Brooklynn is...but she sure knows how to get into trouble! Here are a few examples:

Fun in the Leaves

Brooke LOVES the leaves. Mostly she tries to eat them. Every leaf that enters our house ends up in Brooke's mouth. That is primarily how we know that they are there. She actually only tried to eat a couple when I took these pictures. I was proud of her. She's come a long way.

My New Addiction to Coupons...

I'm pretty proud of my recent shopping trip. I LOVE Walgreens!

Packing...

AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh! So overwhelming!

So our apartment was getting to the point where it was so cluttered and stressful that I couldn't even be in there anymore. So we had to re-organize. We put Brooke's crib in our room and her room is now the packing room! All of our full boxes are stacked in there. It's still stressfull out in the living room but it's not nearly as bad as it was. Brooke literally had a 5 x 5 ft. play area. And she never stayed in there. It was to the point where it wasn't safe anymore. It's a lot better now.

Brooklynn's First Halloween!

Brooke went as NEMO!!! She sure is cute. She loved her costume. (Not so much the head part but she tolerated that part.) I think she liked having a big belly.

Here is Brooke and I Trick or Treating at Jeff & Emily's house. I was a Target lady.

Am I a bad mom because I let Brooke have some sucker? She LOVED it. She wasn't sure what to do with the gum in the center. (Just kidding, she didn't get even close to that part.)

Julie wins the coolest and most creative costume of the year! Brooke wanted to take a picture with her future boyfriend on their first Halloween together. :)

A Strange Snack...

We had to finally get rid of our black chair. It kept getting worse and worse and we weren't sure what was happening to it...we figured it out. A little monster has been EATING it, piece by piece.

Kids really do eat everything.
