BaBa

So, as it turns out, Brooke's Bear has a name, "BaBa". It was actually her very first word, MONTHS AGO, though at the time I didn't realize that it was in fact a word. She has been talking a lot more and has clearly told us that her bear's name is BaBa. So...mark the baby books, Brooke's first word: "BaBa" (her beloved Bear.)

Operation Bear

So it took me several hours of cutting, sewing, shopping, etc. to get these bows JUST RIGHT. They feel a little different than Brooke's real bear and she definitely knows it. She's still not that interested in these "impostor bears" but at least we're on our way. I'm still in the market for the exact material, maybe that will help? Meanwhile I plan to wash the new ones a lot to wear them in a bit, maybe we can trick Brooklynn?

Bear

Brooklynn LOVES her bear. She has slept with it every nap and every night since she was born. We had three of them: two normal ones with the bow that she likes to chew on and play with, and one NO-bow imposter. She kinda likes that one, but it still looks pretty much brand new. We now only have ONE bear with a bow. The other one got lost at the King of Prussia Mall. What a sad day. I actually just ordered two more, and I THINK they have bows. We will see how they hold up in the Brooklynn test.
