Tonight was our seminar at the Birth Center. I really liked it. It's in a home-like setting and there is all the equipment needed for a birth, plus hot tubs and stuff like that. I really liked that it wasn't in a hospital because I don't think of birth as being sick. Plus there won't be all the distractions of a hospital like "paging Dr. Feelgood" etc. In case of a need for a hospital, there is one right across the street that they would transfer me too.
They even let you eat and drink whatever you want during labor. Can't wait! I wonder what I'll be craving. Right now it's pizza. I guess we'll find out.

6 weeks pregnant
My doctor's appointment is for June 3. It's just with my regular doctor, I still haven't decided who I'm going to go to. It's between the Birth Center with a midwife and Paoli Hospital.
My NEW symptoms this week:
shortness of breath
feeling faint
all day nausea. I haven't thrown up yet, but I'm nauseous all day.
My continued old symptoms:
Fatigue
ALL my pants don't fit, even most of my sweat pants are too tight.
My stomach has grown 5 1/2 inches.
I have to wake up every night to pee.
I'm pretty sure the baby is due January 14 or 16.
Registering is really hard. I'm totally overwhelmed with all the stuff you need for a baby. Why can't I just get a crib and a car seat?
Last night I packed up all my pants because now I can't even get them ON, let alone buttoned or zipped. I really thought I wouldn't be showing for another 3 months. Yesterday I went into work and my boss said, "You're HUGE! I mean, you look pregnant!" Not expecting that at 7 weeks already, but that is what is happening to me. She did say I looked overall thinner just it's all going to my belly. I guess that is good. Maybe I'll lose weight after this baby is born.
The first time I went to buy maternity clothes I went in, got frustrated and instead of trying to find another store, the thought of that was way too tiring and I had to leave the mall. The second time I went to 2 thrift stores and got a TON of stuff. I still need a good pair of jeans that fit. I'm willing to spend any amount of money.
Have I mentioned I think I might be having twins? I just have a feeling. We'll see. I won't find out until the first ultrasound.

Petey, our adopted bird family
This is Petey. Yes, she has a nest in our dead plant that's hanging on our balcony.
Here's a baby and a tiny egg.
Here are the babies, they're looking so big!
This is just a day or two before they flew away.
Here's the younger one. His brother was gone and I found him in a different pot. I eventually got to see him take his first flight. It was so cute. I think it was the hormones, but I almost cried. I felt really proud and a little sad that they were gone. I really liked having these kinds of pets. They were outside so they didn't stink up my apartment, and I didn't have to feed them, either.

First Mother's Day
Here is Me and Josh at Ruth Chris Steakhouse. It's probably the best place on earth. We've only been twice because we can't afford it. We used our credit card points to get a $100 gift certificate. We used it on Mother's Day to celebrate Mother's Day, but mainly to celebrate our pregnancy. They even gave me a rose!
Earlier I got to stand up in church when all the Mother's stood. It felt a little weird because no one knew we were pregnant yet and I felt like they were all thinking, "she's a faker" but it was still fun.
First Football Game!
Josh sliding in for a touchdown. I think he was showing off for his unborn child.
The whole team. They dedicated their performance to "Baby Bean" and they WON! (which I think might be only the second time?)
Me and Josh--I went to take pictures, show support and introduce our baby to football very early.

It's Positive!
I'm 4 weeks pregnant! I'm pretty relieved that it's not just getting fat. Already today I had on normal shorts, had them all the way unzipped and unbottoned and still had little groove marks in my skin from being tight.

Florida 2008
Siesta Key Beach, best beach in the world!
We stopped to see Rachel & Chris before we drove down to Sarasota. Rachel is pregnant! I guess her hormones rubbed off on me because a couple of days later we conceived our first child!
Marisa & Mia, my beautiful nieces. I was so excited to share Florida with them!
Josh and Me at Sharky's restaurant
On the pier
I just love this little girl!
Mia really wanted to take our picture in the pine tree so we did!
Sisters eating ice cream!
Josh and Marc
Marisa and her blue ice cream. I love taking pictures of kids with ice cream all over their faces. It cracks me up.
