Turtle Beach

We can't find that many shells at Siesta Beach because the sand is THAT nice. So we go up a few miles to Turtle Beach once when we're there to get shells. The entire beach is ground shells and bigger shells. Not the greatest beach for hanging out all day but the kids sure love it for a few hours to find shells. Brooklynn was REALLY fascinated by the sand here because it's darker and when it stuck to her she could actually see it. She kept pointing to it like, "HEY, it's on my skin!"
She was pretty good at finding shells, but also very good at dumping them out again. We managed to leave with a few and she still loves to play with them.
Here is Brooklynn touching her first fish. She was very curious about it and every time she touched it and it squirmed she got so startled. But then she would want to touch it again.
