Bullseyes

Brooklynn's new thing is to give everybody a "Bullseye." (Which to her means a lick right on the face.) There is a part in Toy Story 2 where Bullseye (the name of the horse) licks Woody (the cowboy toy). I guess that is where she gets it from? Anyway, several months ago Josh and Brooklynn were wrestling around and he was pretending to almost lick her on the face, and I think he actually got her once or twice and she was squealing, "no no! No Bullseye me!!" It was so funny we were all laughing so hard. But ever since then sometimes she will ask for a bullseye, or when we're kissing her good night she will try and lick us...it's always pretty risky.

Well...we thought this would be really funny to have people ask her for a Bullseye (before they knew what it was) and she would quickly show them much to their despair. We sure got a laugh out of it, though.

Time to Paint Some Pumpkins!

Remember all our FREE pumpkins? Well, I wasn't about to carve all of them. I saved one and let Brooklynn paint the rest. She had a grand old time.
She managed to stay fairly clean, too...well the first couple of pumpkins.

Then she started finger (no make that HAND) painting.

No Sleep, AWAKE!!!

Brooklynn has been fighting sleep like crazy lately. She's always saying screaming, "No bed! Awake! Awake! No Sleep!" etc...
This particular night she said that...and then fell asleep during her story. I could barely handle the cuteness. Yeah...sure you're not tired, Brooklynn.

Brooke's New Barbies

The consignment sale gave Brooklynn some FREE Barbies. Somebody had donated some and they thought these particular ones were too...ahem..."loved"...to be sold at the sale. I said that my daughter Brooklynn would LOVE them, even like this. And sadly..this is what they would probably turn into anyway if we bought new ones. She earned each of them for some of her presents for pooping on the potty.
And I was right...she LOVES them.

Almost ALL of Brooke's hair (at least her longer hair...the bottom hasn't grown since her birth yet, for some reason?) goes up into pigtails now! I just can't believe it!

This happens to Brooke's hair whenever she sleeps. (This is partly due to her thrashing around all the time.)
