Brooke's Voice

I know pretty soon Brooklynn will be speaking in real words and it will be so fun. But for now I really like listening to her little "Jibber Jabber". I taped her just talking because I never want to forget the sound of her tiny voice.

Brooklynn's Binkys

So when I was pregnant with Brooklynn I didn't want to buy too many of one thing in case she didn't like it. That was the case with her pacifiers. I bought like one package of all the different kinds, because I didn't know what kind she would like. (Typical first-time Mom?)

So, she ended up loving the Soothie brand that they give you in the hospital. So I went out and bought a ton of them. It would be a crisis if we ever could not find one, right? So after I went out and bought so many of them, opened the packages and sterilized them all....she didn't really like the binkys that much after all. So now what? I guess we are saving them for our next kid. Brooklynn actually likes to give them to me more than use them herself. I think she sees other babies with them now and is interested in them, but she never really took to it. Now we have a game where she takes them all out of her stuffed frog and puts them in her mouth, puts them in my mouth, etc. I have to cry like a baby and say, "Ma ma!" and then she will put it in my mouth. I know, we are strange.

Brooke's New Chair

Thank you, Jamie & Jason, for Brooklynn's new chair! She LOVES it! She gets in and out of it all the time. We're excited to test it out at the beach on Monday! Thanks, Mom & Dad, for bringing it to us.

Sleepy Brooklynn

Today at lunch I got up to get a washcloth to wipe Brooklynn's hands & face and then I saw her starting to fall asleep, and then actually sleep. This was a first for her, falling completely asleep in her high chair. I got her up and she went right to bed! (Well, right after I took some pictures.) Poor Brooklynn.

Brooke's Game Continues...

So we ended up buying a bin just like in Florida for all of Brooklynn's toys. She continues to crawl inside of it and it cracks me up. What a funny baby.

Bye Bye Grandma & Grandpa!

Brooklynn made a nice stinky diaper just in time to say goodbye to my parents.

Thanks again for making the trip out to see us! We had a great time!

Reading with Grandma

Brooklynn constantly wanted to sit on Grandma's lap and she always brought a book with her for her to read. She loves this game. We all get to sneak a lot of cuddle time with her when she sits on your lap for a story.

Eating Out

We went out to Cracker Barrel Sunday morning with everybody. I think it was a party of 23? It was crazy. SO good, though. I need to eat here more often.

We also went out to my favorite Mexican restaurant in Norristown, it's so good. I love their nachos.

Brooke was only using the chips as a spoon to eat more guacamole. She LOVED it.

Dennis's Graduation

This weekend my Uncle graduated to Reverend Doctor Ashley! We are so proud of him. We were also excited to see everybody.
