Aunt Diana

While I am "Aunt Bethany" to 3 of these cute girls, and Andi is "Aunt Andi" to just 1...Diana gets to be "Aunt Diana" to all 4! What a lucky girl. :) Here are some cute pics of them.

Roadside Photo Shoot

These pictures are from my favorite rest stop (Sideline Hill Plaza). I decided to have a photo shoot with Brooke because she was being really cute and I was playing with my new camera. Here's a few cute ones.

Getting Ready for a Long Trip!

We are frantically trying to pack and get ready to go on a trip out to Indiana, to meet my newest neice Myla. We leave tomorrow and will stay somewhere along the way, depending on how tired we are getting. (Brooke and me). Josh will fly into Indy NEXT Thursday night, late and then spend the day with Myla and family Friday and then we are driving up to Olivet, MI to the Beans for Friday night until Sunday. Then we drive back all together on Sunday. We are very excited to see everyone! But we are very sad to leave Daddy behind for a whole week while he works. I will try to post pics on here of Brooklynn, mostly for his sake, while we are gone. But feel free to enjoy them as well!

I made Josh several meals to freeze last night to get him through the week. It usually takes me about a week to pack for even a weekend away now that we have a baby...I have barely started. SO...hopefully I will finish so we can still leave tomorrow. I made a list and saved it on the computer that I can print out every time. I'm hoping that will save me a lot of time. Most of the work is trying to think of stuff I might be forgetting. (Especially hard with the crazy hormones that make me very flaky...yes I'm still blaming my flakiness on the hormones.)

Please pray for our travels, Brooke's adjustment to travelling. (We've made the trip before, but she's a little older now and stays awake longer...hopefully it will be another smooth trip!) AND the biggest one...pray for Brooke and Josh to both not be too sad being away from each other. It's even longer than last time, which was OK, but I could tell Brooke was missing her Daddy.

6 Month Dr. Appointment

Brooke is measuring at 27 1/2 inches long and 16 pounds, 14 ounces. Her head is 17 inches.

It turns out what I thought was her first tooth is actually a cyst (or something like a cyst). She has foreign matter trapped in her gum that will go away when she actually cuts her teeth. Weird. So still no teeth. She has her first diaper rash ever since the last few days so I think they might be coming soon. We'll see.

Brooke LOVED tearing and trying to eat the paper on the table...she sure did a number on it.

This is right after her shots. Her crying actually got even worse than this...it is SO sad. She actually did way better than last time (4 months.) Only 2 needles this time.

Brooke's Tiny Footsteps

Brooke is 6 Months Old!

Brooke is 6 months old today! I can hardly believe that it has been half of an entire year already. Even though it is going fast; I also feel like she has always been here. Is that possible to feel both of those feelings at the same time?

As you can tell, Brooklynn is still VERY cute. (I don't even think I am biased. It's a pure fact.) She is very happy. She definitely has lots of personality! It is so fun to watch her learn and grow. She loves to dance and is happiest in the water. (Or playing with Mommy or Daddy). It is such a fun age right now. She is sitting up really well. She is even almost crawling. She does a rolling routine and flings her body one side or the other and kinda moves a little bit closer. Most of the time she will just yell at us until we give her the toy she is trying to get.

Brooke is doing so well sitting. She only occasionally flings herself over (on purpose) so she can roll. She doesn't realize that it hurts sometimes so this is a very fun game.

Brooke is so close to crawling. I'm enjoying this stage as long as I can because I know once she starts I am going to be very busy! (BusiER). Sometimes I have to go into her room because she is so mad that she can't crawl past the bars in her crib and she gets kinda stuck.

Brooke is Getting Curls!

We knew it was just a matter of time...but it's so cute to see Brooke's curls (or waves) starting to come out. She has them when her hair is wet but it usually dries stick straight. Just recently it's been drying in a little "flip" at the bottom and today (maybe because I didn't have the air conditioning on?) it's looking pretty curly!

Josh and I had a little too much fun the other night posing Brooke with my hair around her face pretending it was freakishly long. This is what she'll look like in a year or two.

Brooke's New Toy

Sadie let us borrow her stage and Brooklynn sure loves it! She has so much fun with it, it's such a cute toy for her age. She loves to sit up and press all the buttons. She just laughs and laughs, it's super cute. Thank you, Sadie!

I Have Another Neice!

Myla Ruth Reinhard was born on Thursday, July 16th at 3:11 pm. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches tall.

I can't wait to meet her! I'm going to visit the beginning of August. I'm coming, tiny princess!
