Shoebox Night!

We were excited to visit our old house church yesterday night. It is Operation Christmas Child Shoe box day on Sunday and we always split up all the stuff and pack them together. It's so fun. We figured since it was a fun activity Brooklynn wouldn't be too disruptive so we went. It was so good to be back! I love this activity especially for Brooklynn because it helps her to learn the importance of giving to others. We picked a girl age 2-4 and let her pick out most of the things in our box (so it was like she was picking stuff she would like out.)
Brooklynn wanted to pack all the mints...I think the entire bag ended up in our box at one point. I took quite a few out to share with others.
It was a little hard for Brooklynn at first to put things in the box, I think she thought we just got to keep everything. Then she got the hang of it. So sweet.
By the end she was having a ball!
Before shot, look at all that stuff on the table! Holy overwhelming!
The whole group (minus me) for the after shot!

Here is a shot of Brooklynn last year when we did this. She's so tiny!
