Camping

This year we went camping at Pine Grove Furnace State Park, which is a little bit past Harrisburg, PA. It was really a nice park. We were even the only ones in the group camping so it was nice and quiet. I think we were the only ones because it was supposed to be in the 90's all weekend and who really wants to camp in such heat? WE DO, that's who!

Here are all of us that made us this year!
Here is the after shot...can you spot any differences?
Brooklynn had SO much fun. She loved every second of camping. The being outside, being around friends, swimming and getting dirty (which she did with great success.) We set up her own special spot with this log and her chair. She did so well I am tempted to drag a huge log on my balcony and have her eat all of her meals there.

Here Brooke is pointing at Levi. Every time she saw any of the babies she would get so excited.
Here she is decorating her log with sidewalk chalk.
Me and Cece.
Rob and Melissa are sleeping in this picture. We were all pretty jealous they got to take such a nice nap. It was really gorgeous in the shade with the breeze coming off the water.
Jeff and Cece got to take a nice nap, too. They were very nice to share their stroller with Brooklynn AND their tent with Jackson.

Emily and Cece...Cece reminds me of Brooklynn when she was that age; she loves the water, too!
Here are all 4 kids...all of the babies learning how to sit nice for a picture from Brooklynn.
But it was really like she told them how to be camera stubborn...
Finally they caved a little, this is the best one I got. Why is it so stinkin' hard to get a decent picture of more than one kid?
Cece and Brooklynn=BFFs
Brooklynn was very determined to get in this floatie, even after we took her out. It kept her entertained for quite a while.
Jackson and Jeff reading the morning paper.

They had this pump where you could get water. Brooklynn on Saturday played in it and got completely soaked. Sunday I learned my lesson and took her (last pair of somewhat clean clothes) off and let her play in her diaper. She had a blast.
Brooklynn and Levi. Look how BIG my daughter is getting! What in the world?
Playtime with Cece, Jackson and Brooklynn. The babies were really excited about some of Brooke's big-girl toys.
Playing with Levi. They were being so stinkin' cute.

Our campsite in the morning, it was gorgeous.
Our family shot for the year.

Another family shot
The Newmillers...who were troupers for putting up with all the couples bringing a baby. What good sports. We are hoping they decided it really wasn't that different with a baby but I think it worked against us.

A Hoverfly. (not a bumbleebee.) This is the first one I've seen in real life.
