Our Indian Summer

So it got up to 65 degrees on Friday. It was gorgeous. It's especially nice when it's FEBRUARY and it's that warm, and it's even extra nice after being trapped inside for so long with a rough pregnancy. This week has been gorgeous, with Friday being the highlight. It was really nice because it was my first week alone with the two girls. It really made it a lot easier for us because we could go outside and enjoy some fresh air.

I pulled Brooklynn in her wagon...but then she just wanted to pull it around.
We went next door to the "playground". She had a blast.

Then we enjoyed some rock throwing and playing in the dirt. There was a nice pile of dirt/rocks from a snowbank that had melted. Brooklynn spent at least half an hour here playing in the dirt.
Then we found some bigger rocks. She always gives me a whole bunch. Her "treasures."
Then she hunted for squirrels. She didn't catch any this time but she was close.
Gabby slept the entire time in the Moby Wrap. Hang in there, sweetie. You can play, too, when you're a little older.

After our morning outside we had lunch, I put Brooklynn down for her nap and I started baking and cleaning for her birthday party the next day.
