We were on our way to Headwaters Park. I kept hyping it up to Brooklynn how we were going on a special date, we were going to play in water...etc. We got there and there was no water on! It ended up being because they were tearing down from Three Rivers Festival. Anyway, we had her in her bathing suit, and we hyped it up so much we couldn't really go home! So I tried to think of a different option and the first thing I thought of was at the Johnny Appleseed Park boat launch site you can walk right up to the edge of the water. So that is what we did and I called it the Fort Wayne Beach. We stayed long enough to get her feet wet a little bit and then we left and ate some ice cream. And avoided a melt down from Brooklynn.
